POLITICO’s What Works event took place on December 15, 2016 to continue the conversation about the future of cities as we enter into a new Administration. BAF Co-Chair and Former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood joined elected officials and experts in the infrastructure space to explore how a 21st century infrastructure agenda will help transform America’s industrial heartland into a sustainable home for wired industries, high-tech manufacturing and high-skill jobs. During the discussion, Secretary LaHood highlighted the importance of tax reform and an infrastructure bank to improve infrastructure programs.
