Bob Wasserman
Mayor, Fremont California
Mayor Bob Wasserman has served on the Fremont City Council since 1992. Prior to his election, he spent almost 40 years in law enforcement, and served as Fremont's Chief of Police from 1976 to 1991.
Mayor Wasserman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Cal State Los Angeles and his Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. He enjoys the opportunity to serve the community that his office provides. His goal as Mayor is to keep Fremont a safe city where people can live, work, play and shop.
When he isn't attending meetings, Mayor Wasserman enjoys sports, reading, and travel. He is married and has two children.
