Senator Larry Grooms started out as a small businessman and entrepreneur, founding a chain of convenience stores and restaurants and currently serves as president of GTI, Inc.
As a state senator, Grooms serves as Chairman of the Transportation Committee and as a member of the Education, Finance, Fish, Game and Forestry, and Agriculture and Natural Resources Committees. As a South Carolina native, businessman, and public servant, Sen. Grooms has experienced first-hand, the needs of the state and citizens.
