Boston Herald: Deval Patrick traveling to Washington again
From Boston Herald:
Gov. Deval Patrick is heading back to Washington for another Obama administration event. The Massachusetts chief executive will meet with Vice President Joe Biden and Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood on Wednesday for a roundtable discussion about high-speed rail funding in the federal stimulus law. Boston sits at the top of the Northeast Corridor Acela route, and that high-speed rail line to New York and Washington is the model for other proposed train routes in the South, Midwest and West. Also attending the session will be Govs. Tim Kaine of Virginia, Sonny Perdue of Georgia, Jennifer Granholm of Michigan, Jim Doyle of Wisconsin and Jay Nixon of Missouri.
