WASHINGTON, DC – This week, Ohio Governor John Kasich and the State Legislature finalized the state’s new transportation budget of $6.8 billion, with $1.6 billion to be used for maintaining the state’s existing infrastructure, and granted new authority for the state to enter into public private partnerships to develop new transportation infrastructure projects. Co-Chair Former Governor Ed Rendell Issues Statement

WASHINGTON, DC – On Tuesday, Senator John Kerry (D-MA) introduced a bill calling for the creation of the American Infrastructure Financing Authority, otherwise known as an American Infrastructure Bank with support from Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Building America’s Future (BAF) has been a strong proponent of a similar investment structure as it will help finance critical infrastructure projects across the nation.
