There is no doubt that with presidential campaigns in full-swing, and many local transportation measures set to be on ballots around the country next year, 2016 is going to be a busy year for addressing our transportation and infrastructure challenges. But before we look ahead, we wanted to take a moment to look back at 2015.

Building America’s Future Educational Fund is a bipartisan coalition of current and former elected officials dedicated to raising awareness about America’s long-neglected infrastructure and advocating for increased l investment at all levels of government and finding ways to partner with the private sector. It is fitting that we launch this blog the same week that the House has finally passed a long-term surface transportation bill, only after several years of delays and 36 short term extensions.
